Brighton Youth Baseball Association (BYBA) offers a local recreational and competitive baseball program that plays through Jefferson County Junior Baseball League (JCJBL). 

Vision Statement:

To provide an organized baseball league for the youth of Brighton and surrounding communities that achieves excellence in competitive youth baseball, enhances personal, mental and physical skill development, and embraces the core values of serving the children and their families.
 
Mission Statement:
 
BYBA is committed to individual player development, skill enhancement, teamwork, and leadership while providing an environment that fosters the highest degree of participation and sportsmanship while keeping baseball fun for the players and their families.


Recreational League

BYBA offers a recreational league for players ages 4-10. Rec league has TBall, Machine Pitch, and Kid Pitch programs. All games will be played in the greater Brighton area. All fees are set for each program and must be paid prior to being placed on a team.

Competitive League

There are four (4) levels or flights for each age group. It is structured much like Major League Baseball, in that there is a Majors level (0 Flight) which is the top level. There are also AAA, AA, and A levels just like Major League Baseball. League play for ages 8 through 13 is from approximately April 1 to the end of June. State playoffs follow the end of league play. 14 y/o's will start their season on or about March 15 and be done by May 15 so they may tryout for their respective High School Legion teams.
